Now that the weather is getting warmer I have gladly ditched the heavy coats and just been layering with an occasional leather jacket thrown over. I’m so so glad spring is finally here! There’s nothing more liberating than being able to breeze through the door without having to pile on the scarf and the gloves and the coat.
Anyway I’ve been loving a lot of things from Zara at the moment. When I saw Sandra from TTSandra wore this adorable sweater in her Face of the Month video I knew I had to get my hands on one. It’s just a perfect basic sweater for spring; it’s simple with cute embroidery detail that makes it a little more interesting. You can just throw it on over a T-shirt and you’re good to go.
I’ve also been loving ribbed jeans and this one from River Island is just gorgeous. The ribbing is subtle and not OTT, which I prefer on days that I want to be casual but still look put together. I also love the colour wash of this jeans; it’s not too light and not too dark and it can dress up or dress down any outfits.
Now that the weather is warm enough, there are days that I just can’t be bothered with socks and boots. This London Rebels’ mule that I got from ASOS is a great transitioning piece. It still covers your feet and keep them warm but so easy to just slip your feet in as it wears like a sandal.
The last sneaky purchase is a bag from Zara. This is another YouTube enabled purchase; Suzie from HelloOctober shown this Soft Shopper Bag in her What’s In My Bag video and I just fell in love with it. It’s a perfect holdall bag that looks pretty cool in my opinion. And because I like to carry my entire life with me wherever I go this bag comes in very very handy as it basically fits everything you want to throw in.
