There is nothing I love better than to stumble upon a great beauty product at a budget friendly price. And it was just my luck last week to stumble upon this beautiful quad eyeshadow from Rimmel in “002 Smokey Brun”. Being a neutral make up kind of girl, this gorgeous palette is right up my street. It consists of 4 variations of neutral shades; a nude beige, a taupe, a golden bronze and a dark brown. These are all shimmery shades but very subtle so rest assured you are not going to look like a disco ball! I also love the pigmentation of these shadows because it is just right; not too pigmented and not too light, so it will allow you to build the colour up to the intensity that you want or keep it very natural and neutral if you so please.
There’re so many looks you can create with this simple palette. On normal days I would use the left-hand taupe shade as a quick wash all over my lid and the right-hand deep gold shade in the crease and outer corner and the brown just a little on the outer corner and also along my lash line. The lightest nude beige shade can be used in the inner corner of you eyes to brighten things up or under your brow bone to create a wider looking set of eyes.
